Derbyshire - Kinder Scout
Submitted by sandrah on Sun, 19/09/2010 - 17:14The mighty hill of Kinder Scout is the highest point in the Peak District and most folk climb to its wide peaty summit on the Pennine Way from Edale. For a quieter - but just as beautiful - approach, try this route from Snake Pass.
After the initial haul you stay high for miles, tracing Kinder's airy and view-heavy edges before dropping into the gorgeous lonely dale of Ashop Clough.
