Walk 2010/03 - Castleton, Losehill Pike, the Great Ridge, Mam Tor

Well it's January 2010  the worst winter in decades and this postponed walk had to be cancelled as the prodicted wind chill for Kinder Scout ( over looking our proposed route) was as low os -8°C and it was decided that in the current conditions the safety of members would be at risk.

It was with great regret that we had to take this action but the safety of our members is of Paramount importance to the club.  Again we will be adding this walk to  future program. ( it may be stightly altered to increase the distance of the walk.
