This is a Walk close to Mick's heart it Starts from the River Welland and crossed the river to Burghley Park, then exit the park by an unusually shaped gatehouse. and the follows Ermine Street in to agricultural lands of North Cambridgeshire.
On the return leg the views are a stark contrast with the views previously but after a short while return to the River Welland and back into Stamford.
A shorter Alternative is available of 7 Miles
